Sub System Manager

Purpose of the job
Responsible for the management and successful completion of cross‑functional activities leading to the delivery of project sub‑systems, meeting customer needs and Quality‑Cost‑Delivery‑Performance (QCDP) objectives.
Main responsibilities
Contribute to project execution on the allocated sub‑system scope, applying project strategy and contractual commitments.
Lead and coordinate sub‑system activities and stakeholders from requirement capture to project hand‑over.
Plan, monitor, control and manage sub‑system schedule, resources, costs, risks and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with rules, standards, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
Manage interfaces with other sub‑systems, integration teams and project‑level functions.
Perform sub‑system level decisions, trade‑offs, change management and reporting of KPIs.
Represent the company towards customers and external stakeholders when required.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience as manager of an operational scope.
Experience working in multinational companies and diverse business cultures.
Knowledge of Alstom way of working and global sub‑system knowledge.

Knowledge of project management processes.
Ability to coordinate multi‑site, multi‑functional teams.
Educational requirements
Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree; desirable IPMA Level D or equivalent.
Salary
45 000 – 60 000 EUR, CCNL Metalmeccanici Industria.
