Finance Director Italy

Your Mission
As Director of Finance Strategy you will be the key strategic advisor to the General Manager of Glovo Italy, owning financial planning, performance steering and strategic decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a Finance Strategy team delivering insights, identifying opportunities and challenging the status quo.
Provide guidance on roadmap, investment decisions, business model evolution and expansion.
Own and steer the full P&L, from revenue levers to cost optimisation.
Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly performance reviews.
Develop business cases, scenario analyses and predictive models.
Partner with central finance, strategy and data teams to ensure alignment.
Represent the country in international forums and share learnings.
Oversee treasury, accounting, financial policies and statements.
Manage relationships with external auditors, consultants and other third parties.
Qualifications
10‑15 years of experience in finance, strategy, consulting or equivalent high‑impact environments.
Proven senior leadership with full P&L exposure and cross‑functional business acumen.
Experience in high‑growth tech, e‑commerce or marketplace companies.
Background in strategy consulting (e.g., MBB) or CFO roles is a strong plus.
Fluency in Italian and English.
